About Katie

Katie’s Journey

When I was five years old, my mother started having trouble walking due to having multiple sclerosis [an autoimmune disease]. This made me deeply curious about how people function or don't function. Why can some people overcome obstacles and recover, but not others?

Katie was fascinated by how the human body and mind’s work influence the human condition. This led Katie to embark on a journey that serves others to heal.

Katie’s exposure to various medical fields, such as Pre-Medicine, Sports Medicine, Chinese Medicine, Emergency Care, and working with individuals with health complications or impairments.

She has developed an appreciation for the importance of movement, breathing, and how the mind functions in positively impacting the joy we get out of life.
